Itinerary

Start and end in Amman! You have a 9 days tour package taking you through Amman, Jordan and 9 other destinations in Jordan. Family Tour includes accommodation in a hotel as well as an expert guide, meals and more.

Introduction:

A tour that focuses on the children. Seeing the faces of your children light up, smile and enjoy their holiday, is the best gift most parents can ask for. We ensure you that your children will have a fantastic time in Jordan. To give the little ones the rest they need, the program is kept more quiet so they can take in all the impressions and not get overwhelmed. Of course we do not forget the parents; you still get to visit all the highlights of Jordan. Jordan is fun for young and old; let your children experience the treasures Jordan beholds

Day 1: Arrival Queen Alia Airport—Amman

Arrival at Amman Queen Alia International airport. Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall, also holding a name sign and he will transfer you to your hotel in Amman for overnight, including breakfast.

Day 2: Amman city tour – Jerash – Amman

Enjoy a city tour in Amman. Start at 08.30 am with visiting the Citadel and the Roman Theater. Drive to Jerash, to tour one of the best preserved old Roman provincial cities. After your tour of Jerash, you will be transferred back to Amman. You will still have a few hours free time on your hands. You could decide to relax at the hotel, visit the Children’s Museum or go for shopping at Amman

Day 3: Amman—Madaba—Mt. Nebo—Karak – Dana Nature Reserve

From Amman you drive towards Madaba, to visit the St George Church with its famous mosaic map. Continue to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Drive to Karak to visit the immense Crusaders Castle. Another great chance for the children to let their fantasy go mad!

Transfer to Dana Nature Reserve with its amazing view. Enjoy a walk together through this beautiful area. You could also explore the old village of Dana. Overnight in Dana Nature Reserve.

Day 4: Dana Nature Reserve —Petra

Drive to Petra, to explore one of the seven world wonders. After your visit to the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Theatre and Colonnaded Street you still have time to see: the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice. It is a lot of climbing, but worth the views! Your children can ride donkeys, camels and/or horses inside of Petra making it less tiring for them and more fun. Overnight at your hotel in Petra.

Day 5: Petra—Wadi Rum

Drive from Petra to the famous Wadi Rum desert. When you arrive you have the option to ride a camel for half hour to Lawrence’s Spring. After you’ll make a half day jeep tour along the most famous sites in Wadi Rum including a fresh prepared lunch. During the jeep tour there is a chance of sand boarding on the sand dunes! Overnight camping at a fixed campsite in Wadi Rum.

Day 6 & 7: Wadi Rum—Aqaba

After breakfast drive to Aqaba. You will have two full days to relax at the beach, enjoy the hotel swimming pools and entertainment for the children. Optional excursions such as a snorkeling day trip can be booked, contact us for more information. 2 Overnights in Aqaba.

Day 8: Aqaba—Dead Sea

After breakfast drive via the Wadi Araba Desert Highway, to the Dead Sea, lowest point on the earth’s surface. Enjoy a free afternoon at 4* Dead Sea Spa Hotel. This hotel has a water play area for the kids where they can have lots of fun. Float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud! Also for the adults there is enough to do at this hotel. Overnight at the Dead Sea.

Day 9: Dead Sea—Amman Airport

Transfer to Amman Airport for departure.
